Early Morning: The Jungle Wake-Up
6:00 AM – Wake Up with the Howler Monkeys
Mornings here start early. Instead of an alarm clock, you wake up to the distant calls of howler monkeys and birdsong. As the sun rises over the jungle, it casts golden light through your window. It is a peaceful and grounding way to start. Consequently, you feel surprisingly energized even at 6:00 AM.
7:00 AM – Surf’s Up
After a light snack or coffee from Sendero Kitchen, it is time to head to Playa Guiones. The beach is just a 200m walk from your room. Whether you are a pro surfer or it is your first time, our team can help. Our in-house surf school, Chorotegas, can arrange a lesson or a board rental for you. Morning waves are usually steady and the winds are perfect. Therefore, it is the best time to find your flow.
Midday: Slowing Down
9:30 AM – Refuel & Relax
Post-surf, it is back to Sendero for a healthy breakfast. You can enjoy tropical fruit, smoothie bowls, gallo pinto, and local coffee. Afterward, you might take a dip in the pool or rest in a hammock. There is no rush because there is nowhere else you need to be.
12:00 PM – Explore or Retreat
Midday is for whatever you need it to be. Head into town for boutique shopping or a juice at the local café. Book a massage or yoga class. Or stay in the cool shade of your room, reading or napping in peace.
Afternoon and Evening: Connection
3:00 PM – Afternoon Adventure
Join a guided hike through the nearby trails, spot wildlife, or take a short drive to one of the area’s waterfalls. If you’re feeling social, head to the bar early and chat with other guests over an iced cocktail or cold cerveza.
5:30 PM – Sunset at the Beach
It’s a nightly ritual in Nosara: everyone heads to the beach for the sunset. Watch the sky shift from gold to pink to deep indigo. Some bring a towel and sit quietly. Others join in spontaneous soccer games or beach yoga.
7:00 PM – Dinner & Community
Back at Sendero Kitchen, dinner is served with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. You’ll find guests lingering at the bar, connecting over shared stories and travel plans. It’s easy to meet people here—everyone’s on the same wavelength.
Nightfall: A Natural End
