Coffee Station

Located next to the pool, Sendero offers complimentary coffee, tea and homemade breakfast breads daily from 6am to 11am, as well as freshly baked cookies and fruit-flavored water from 11am to 6pm.

Sendero Kitchen

Our onsite restaurant, Sendero Kitchen, offers hotel guests the opportunity to connect with the Nosara community through a blend of casual and fine dining options, as well as a vibrant après surf scene. The menu offers the highest quality and freshest ingredients at every meal.

Chorotega Surf School

Surf against the breathtaking backdrop of an expansive white sand beach and a lush junglescape. From an impressive selection of surfboards to rainfall showers for rinsing off post-surf, Sendero has all the amenities you need to have a great surfing experience.

Laundry Service

Laundry service is available upon request. Please note that we use biodegradable products and our service is a wash, dry and fold service only. We cannot handle anything that requires special care, dry cleaning or is color fast. Rate: $1/clothing item + 13% VAT.

The hotel provides complimentary bicycles for guests to use. If you’d like to use them, please request the key at the Front Desk.

Smoking Policy

Sendero is a 100% smoke, vape and flame-free property. A $250 cleaning surcharge will be imposed on any room where guests have burned candles, smoked (including e-cigarettes) or vaped in their room or anywhere on property.

Pet Policy

We are happy to offer dog-friendly lodging. Dogs are the only pets allowed, and we can only accommodate dogs under 45 lbs. with a maximum of 1 allowed per room. A pet fee of $50 per dog per night will be added to your room charges. Additional dog policy details:

• While we love our pets, not all of our guests feel the same way. For this reason, pets are never permitted in interior public spaces—they are permitted only in our exterior common areas and only while on leash.
• Pets must never be left in guest rooms alone.
• Dogs are never allowed in property pools, pool deck areas or indoor restaurants.
• If unregistered dogs are discovered in rooms, or if a pet causes stains or damage to a pet-friendly guest room, a charge of $250.00 will be added to the guest’s credit card on file.

Room Occupancies & Additional Persons Policy

Occupancy in all guest rooms at Sendero is limited to two people of any age, excluding our Suites with a max capacity of four people. However, we are able to provide pack ‘n plays or roll-away beds in certain rooms. For more information please contact the Reservation Team or Front Desk.

Alcohol Policy

Guests must be 18 years of age or older to consume alcohol. As our common spaces are used by all guests, we ask everyone to drink responsibly and be considerate of others around them.

Cancellation Policy

High Season: Nov 1 – April 30

Payment for the total amount of the reservation is charged upon making the reservation. If the reservation is canceled or modified within 90 days of the arrival date, 100% of the reservation is non refundable.

Green Season: May 1 – October 31

Guests have two option when making a reservation:

1 – A credit card is charged 100% of the reservation at the time of booking. This charge is non refundable, however, we provide a 15% discount on the room rate.

2 – A credit card is charged 50% of the total reservation at the time of booking. When guests arrive the remaining balance will be charged at check in. If the reservation is canceled or modified within 30 days of the arrival date, 100% of the reservation will be charged.

During all seasons, please note 100% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged in the case of a “no-show”.

Additionally, should you depart the hotel earlier than your scheduled check out date, the amount charged for the unused nights on your original reservation cannot be refunded.

Guest Responsibility

While accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damages due to gross negligence. The hotel is not responsible for the loss of any valuables in guest rooms or automobiles. We recommend that money and other personal valuables are secured in the room’s safe.

Sendero is a cash free property, however, we accept a variety of payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
